WHO ARE WE?
Hi, I’m Kaylynn — the heart behind Fika.Our journey began back in 2022, when my mom Kristina, my dad George, and I decided we wanted to create something meaningful for children. We didn’t know exactly what — maybe baby products, maybe clothing — but we did know one thing: nothing in stores felt magical. Every time we looked at baby items, books, toys, or clothes, they all looked the same. Beige. Plain. Forgettable. But childhood should be the opposite of that. I’ve always loved writing poetry. It’s my favorite thing to do — and when I’m bored, I write just for fun. That love turned into my first book, Sealandia Meets Fika: Pearls for Mommy. I wrote the story, and my mom illustrated every page to be filled with color and wonder. From the very beginning, my parents helped guide me — from brainstorming to building the brand. Even now, they’re by my side, helping bring Fika to life.
WHY FIKA?
Fika was born out of a simple but powerful idea: color matters. When we looked around at baby stores, we saw a world drained of joy — but we believe children deserve better. Colors don’t just look pretty — they spark imagination, support development, and bring joy to learning and play. At Fika, we create products that excite a child’s eyes, inspire their creativity, and help their little minds grow. My dream has always been that one day, moms and dads everywhere will know the name Fika and fall in love with the magic behind it. But for now, I’m just a girl — almost 16 — investing in a dream that’s bigger than myself. Fika is my way of showing the world that childhood should be colorful, bold, and beautiful.
